In this crazy spinning world, take some time to just ‘STOP’ and make your health and wellbeing a priority even if it’s for a short time.

Everything you need is within you, you no longer need to look everywhere else for the answers. Just give it a try and trust that you really do know yourself better than anybody else.

It took for me to be on my knees and not well enough to do anything to learn this lesson. This is what Mindfulness can do for you, it’s that simple!

 

My name is Emma, and I would really like to be able to help you to help yourself. I am not saying this is easy but it is so worth it.

 

If you can honour all your feelings, even the ones that are dark and scary, give life to them and maybe just feel and make friends with them for a bit, then you may just find that you will feel calmer and more able to cope with each moment that comes your way.

A little bit about me and how I got here.

I am passionate about wellbeing and self-care, which is why I decided to train to be a mindfulness teacher.  My experience as a healer and reflexologist taught me a lot about health and suffering. I was then lucky enough to be able to be at home with my three young children until my youngest started primary school.  This time was both special and challenging in equal measures, but it taught me a lot about the ups and downs of being a parent and all that comes with that. I then decided to volunteer in my local primary school and went on to work as a part time emotional/learning support Teaching Assistant for 7 years. During this time, I was privileged to have worked with many different children of differing ages who had different emotional and educational needs.

 

This experience combined with my own experiences of illness and life challenges has led me to the present moment where I decided I would like to combine all my experience and set up ‘Mindfulbisdee.co.uk’. I offer supportive sessions to adults and young people who would like to learn how to support their own health and wellbeing. I am very flexible, and we can have a chat about what you feel you would benefit from, we can work out together the right plan for you and your needs.
